SENER designs, analyses, manufactures, assembles, integrates and tests spacecraft and instrument systems, such as parasols, SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) deployment systems, landing systems, egress systems and docking/berthing systems. Among its main projects the deployable sunshield for GAIA, the Rover Exit System (SES) of the Mars Lander Platform for the EXOMARS mission and the Formation Flying System of Proba-3 as well as the IBDM (International Berthing and Docking Mechanism) demonstration mission stand out.
