The Prince and Princess of Asturias visit the SENER and Torresol Energy stand at WFES in Abu Dhabi
This morning, Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias visited the joint stand of Spanish companies SENER and Torresol Energy, at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), a leading trade show in the renewable power industry being held these days in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
SENER receives the 2009 Miguel Pardo Award in the Technology and Innovation category
SENER won the 2009 Miguel Pardo award granted by the Spanish Maritime Cluster (CME) in the Technology and Innovation category. The award ceremony was held on Tuesday 1 December before the General Meeting of the CME, at the Hotel Ritz in Madrid.
COMPOLAB: Composite materials laboratory for aeronautics at Terrassa
This new laboratory is inaugurated on 25 November 2009 at Intexter, the textiles laboratory at the UPC campus in Terrassa, as a result of collaboration with the UPC Department of Materials, the UPC School of Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering (ETSEIAT), the SENER engineering company and the CTAE Aerospace Research and Technology Centre. The laboratory will be used for student hands-on training, research on advanced composite materials and manufacturing processes, especially for aeronautic applications.
SENER participates in the Iberdrola Renovables R&D Project for the development of floating wind turbine supports
The Spanish company Iberdrola Renovables and SENER, Ingenieria y Sistemas, have signed an agreement for the active participation of SENER in the R&D concerning floating wind turbine supports, moored over deep waters -more than 50m depth-.
