SENER’S skills in the field of Mechanisms and Mechatronics cover the whole range of activities from conceptual design, analysis, simulation and manufacture to assembly, final integration and hardware tests (AIT).

SENER designs, classifies and delivers to the customer completely enabled electronic equipment, structures and modules for Aerospace, Aeronautical and Defence applications.

In the field of Electronics, the company performs all the activities, from systems engineering to the delivery of flight equipment.

In actuation, control and mechanisms systems, its activities range from systems analysis to final integration.

Integration is carried out at SENER’s installations and the tests are carried out internally in the special testing installations. These tests include environmental tests as well as vacuum and thermal tests, structural tests and vibration and shock tests or EMI/EMC tests.

In most cases, the development phase of the programme ends with a complete and extensive test campaign of a prototype. This classification process covers the following verifications:

• Physical and electrical (general dimensions, interfaces, relations etc.)
• Functional verification
• Environmental tests
• Mechanical tests: resonance, sine and random, shock etc tests
• Thermal tests: thermal cycle
• Life tests.

SENER has its own production and integration installations for electronics and optical electronics and new installations for actuation and control systems.
