In the field of AOCS and GNC, SENER is the main contractor for these technologies in major Spanish and European programmes, including in nearly every case, the control software development.
SENER design, develops, manufactures, integrates, tests and supports Space Actuation and Control Systems, including complete Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS/ACMS), with major projects such as the AOCS/ACMS for the Herschel and Planck satellites, conceived together with Dutch Space, and the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) of the OPTOS pico-satellite.
Lastly, the company has developed simulators and test equipment, such as the Generic test bench for AOCS.
