The company performs a range of activities including conceptual engineering, manufacturability analysis and detail design (PLY models), optimisation of material consumption and documentation of the production process, from the detailed production sequence to the laser positioning models.
SENER provides all of the necessary documentation for the production of parts from composite materials. This documentation takes in everything from the definition for the cutting machine (nesting) for optimum use of the raw material, to the preparation of the laser file for positioning the sheets, in ATL Panex, also encompassing hot drape forming processes and the book with the stacking or laminating sequence.
Work in this area includes curvature and deformation analyses (manufacturability) of the material in accordance with its properties, selection of excess material for trimming and final seaming according to the width of the roll, and definition of overlaps for the correct stress transmission.
Subsequently, as required, SENER provides the necessary support throughout the production process with the aim of improving time frames, optimising the use of materials and thus reducing production costs. To do so, SENER analyses the industrialisation and manufacturing sequence and makes the relevant changes to the design.
SENER also manages the configuration, MRB support (including the analysis and justification for documentation) and support for the SRM, which involves the classification, analysis and justification of permissibles, the justification of repairs, repair documentation and plans and the design, analysis and justification for testing.
