SENER has its own installations to carry out industrial manufacturing, prototyping, production and support throughout the life cycle of the equipment developed by its Aerospace Strategic Business Unit. The main centre where this activity is carried out is located in SENER’s Madrid offices in the district of Tres Cantos. There, the company has an integration and test centre of renowned prestige, covering an area of 2,500 square metres. This centre houses the activities of incoming goods inspection, management and storage, mechanical and electronic integration, quality control, functional, thermal and vibration testing, packaging and shipping.
As well as this centre, there are new premises for high-finish industrial products, such as guidance systems for thermo-solar power generation and other large systems. It is a new centre of excellence with 1,800 square metres for production and test activities.
SENER also has three clean rooms for the assembly and testing of equipment dedicated to special applications. In all of them, temperature, moisture, pressure, particle number and size, and sound and lighting levels are rigorously controlled. We also have an electronics laboratory.
